The real silk fabric alone just couldn't satisfy the demand from today's realistic silk flower industry. There is seldom or no such a thing as real "silk" flowers on the mass markets nowadays. All the silk flowers are made of poly-silk fabric and or other modern plastic materials such as polyester, nylon, latex, polyresin, etc. etc. People are still using the name Silk Flowers perhaps just because of our parents and grand parents are used to call it that way. The more accurate name should be Artificial Flowers and or Artificial Plants.
